Who are we?

We are mechanisms that consist of all components that work together to be able to make us function as we do. It is kind of unacceptable though to us humans to think that we are just a result of materials/ components working together. But if we think logically we are just that. According to science(which is a very logical field to refer to), we came from non being to being a very long time ago when some components of the earth or chemicals, lightning, water and the atmosphere of the earth at the time sparked up and brewed up the first single cellular life forms. After that through millions of years of evolution we got to the point that we are.
If we put faith aside for a moment and try to just reason out according to evidences, this is the best we can do to explain ourselves.
But we have this feeling, this gut feeling that we are way bigger and have way deeper meaning to us. Could that be true?
Well it just might. In fact it is somehow evident we are.
There is something that remains a mystery to science about us. In fact the whole scenario of life is still a mystery. But the real mystery is how and why life evolves. Life seems to know ho and when to evolve. When it evolves it evolves in a reasonable and useful way. Also when species evolve, a whole population of a species evolve the same way. How and why? How does it know? Who is it that knows? It is a total mystery to science. It is also very likely that it will remain a mystery because of the fact that science only deals with things that can be observed and proved also the root of this phenomenon called life is something that can't be observed at all.
There are lots of theories outside of science on what we are. It is hard to judge on which is right and which is wrong. But many including myself believe, if looked deeply enough, they all or some or one may of them may be true.
The logical explanation though believed by some including myself is that we are life itself. If thought logically and according to evidences of observations, this idea seems to make perfect sense and is perfectly logical. We are life and life is us. Life itself being untouchable, unobservable and overall not sensible to us as humans, it is something that is evident to be much larger than us us humans in meaning and in wisdom and to top it all off it is clearly evident that we are it itself. Mind boggling isn't it?
